Not every background process is unnecessary

Security, cloud sync and system services can have legitimate reasons to run.

Review apps you recognize

Look first at optional consumer applications rather than trying to disable unknown system components.

Measure before changing

If an app consistently uses high resources, that is more useful evidence than a long list of process names.

Uninstall unused software normally

Use the operating system's supported uninstall process rather than deleting program folders by hand.

General consumer technology information only. Interfaces and menu names change. Before resets, reinstalls, storage changes or other major actions, verify that important data is backed up and use current manufacturer/service-provider instructions.
