Notice what remains responsive

If the pointer and other apps still work, the issue may be isolated to one program.

Give busy tasks some time

Large updates, exports or file operations can temporarily reduce responsiveness.

Restart when appropriate

A normal restart is often safer than repeated forced power-offs.

Repeated freezes deserve investigation

Consistent lockups, error messages or storage warnings can justify manufacturer or professional support.
